Experts of Toyota developed a system of intelligent high-beam LED Array Adaptive High Beam System, which adapts to the mode of driving a car, does not blind oncoming cars and pedestrians on the roadside lights. The first models with new headlights will appear in 2015. In light headlamps there are LEDs, which mounted in several rows. The “brain” of the new system is the Toyota electronic control unit, which works in conjunction with the established in the top of the windscreen camera and steering. If necessary, the electronics can change the direction of the luminous flux of certain diodes to illuminate a turn or avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
