“Toyota” Told Which Models are Best Bought in Eastern Europe

Authorised dealers and authorized partners of “Toyota” in Central and Eastern Europe in 2012, have sold 184 900 units, which is about 28% more compared to the last year. Increased popularity was also given to the luxury brand of Toyota – Lexus, as its sales were as high as they have never been before.

Increase in sales contributed to the successful launch of new and updated models. In 2012, Toyota began selling new versions of business-class sedan Camry with a 2-liter and 3.5-liter petrol engine capacity of 249 hp output. In addition, the European market appeared to love the minivan Toyota Alphard, sports coupe Toyota GT86, updated Toyota Land Cruiser 200, Toyota Prius, and the Toyota Hiace with a diesel engine.

By results of 2012 the most popular Toyota models in that market are Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla and Toyota RAV4. The biggest increase in sales in the Toyota lineup demonstrated model Camry (an increase of 62%). Through expansion kits, offered to the consumers, Toyota Camry share in total sales of the brand was 23% in 2012.
