Toyota made track version GT86 coupe

Toyota has introduced a version of the track Coupe GT86, get the index 14R60. It is a harbinger of a prototype 86 TRD Griffon, which would be declassified last summer in the British Goodwood Festival of Speed. Novelty will release a limited edition. Coupe has an aggressive body kit, which includes modernized bumpers, other side “skirt” and extended wheel arches. In addition, the model has a carbon roof, additional aerodynamic elements at the front air intakes, rear diffuser with twin tailpipes of the exhaust system and 18-inch wheels made of magnesium alloy.
Inside, there is no audio, but sport seats, steering wheel, fitted by Alcantara and carbon fiber inserts.
In addition, the coupe has received a new air filter, oil cooler more efficient and upgraded six-speed manual gearbox, which is equipped with a lightweight flywheel, racing clutch and short-stroke engine.

The two-liter “four” track Toyota GT86 still develops 200 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, as the civilian version. Dynamic characteristics of new items were not disclosed. Coupe is gaining its first “hundred” in 7.6 seconds. Maximum speed is 226 km per hour.

New car also received recustomized suspension with adjustable dampers, more powerful brakes and a limited slip differential on the rear axle.

There will be built 100 of these cars. Prices for Toyota 86 14R60 in Japan will start from 6.3 million yen (about 57.8 thousand dollars).
