Toyota Avalon of the fifth generation debuted in Detroit (part 1)

The new Japanese sedan Toyota Avalon of the 5th generation made its debut in America at the auto show in Detroit. The new Avalon sedan is purely an American car and destined primarily for the North America automotive market. Therefore, the creation of the model is being done in America. Calty studio’s designers endowed the car with an original exterior design and a chic interior. Interestingly, 5 generation Avalon is offered in four versions; Touring and XSE are sports models and Limited and XLE are luxury ones.

The external dimensions of Avalon of 2019 model year are 4978 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, 1435 mm in height, with 2870 mm of wheelbase and 135 mm of ground clearance. The sedan will be available with 17-19 inch alloy wheels and 215 / 55R17, 225 / 45R18 and 235/40 R19 tires. The frontal resistance coefficient makes 0.27 Cx. The external design also includes LED headlamps with daytime running lights, aerodynamic skirt on the front bumper, dome-shaped roof with a mini boot lid, powerful rear bumper with a pair of twin exhaust nozzles.

Sales of the 5th generation Toyota Avalon sedan will start in the US market in May 2018. The price of the new generation model is not yet announced, but, according to preliminary information, it will be from 34,000 dollars.
