2019 Toyota Auris on the stand in Geneva

The third generation Auris hatchback has been unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show. According to preliminary information, the new Toyota will go on sale in Europe in the end of the summer 2018. The price will make 22500 Euro for a model equipped with petrol 116-hp 1.2-liter Turbo motor.

The Japanese hatchback has got a bright and original body, huge grille and a massive bumper with aerodynamic elements, as well as hard-to-design LED headlights and headlamps and wings hanging over the headlights and wings with a powerful relief. From the side view, we can say about short hood, 18-inch wheels, sports rear-view mirrors and doors with a high window sill. The rear body is designed by a compact tailgate with a strong inclination of the glass, large ceiling-marker lamps with LED filling, majestic bumper with vertical intakes, diffuser and implanted exhaust nozzles.

Compared to the second generation Auris, the novelty has increased in length by 40 mm and axles distance by 40 mm. The height of the new hatch has been reduced by 25 mm. The new TNGA modular platform is in the core of the new generation hatchback and new rear multi lever suspension architecture. The standard version will be provided by 1.2-liter petrol turbocharged engine generating 116 horses and 185 Nm and working with 6-step manual transmission and an optional Multidrive S.
