Toyota Avalon of the fifth generation debuted in Detroit (part 2)

The new Toyota Avalon is based on the TNGA modular front-drive platform with a completely independent suspension scheme (front McPherson strut and rear multi-link), like the new generation Toyota Camry that also shared engines with the 2019 Avalon. Thus, under the hood of the novelty there is installed petrol V6 3.5 paired with 8 automatic transmission and hybrid power plant THS II for the Toyota Avalon Hybrid version. The manufacturer did not disclose the power specifications. In addition, the carmakers added Adaptive Variable Suspension as an option that is able to change the degree of damping in 20 milliseconds.
The wonderful five-seat saloon has got leather trim of the front panel and seats in black, beige, gray or cognac colors at choice. For Touring and XSE sports versions there will be proposed a combined finishing (leather and suede). On the central console there is located a large screen of a multimedia system and a sensor control unit for climate control.
The standard equipment of the Japanese sedan will be presented by a multifunctional steering, navigation, Apple CarPlay support, rear-view camera, three-zone climate control, 10 airbags, Toyota Safety Sense P, blind monitoring zones and radar cruise control. There is also Traction Control and Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist and Anti-lock Braking System.

The new Japanese sedan Toyota Avalon of the 5th generation made its debut in America at the auto show in Detroit. The new Avalon sedan is purely an American car and destined primarily for the North America automotive market. Therefore, the creation of the model is being done in America. Calty studio’s designers endowed the car with an original exterior design and a chic interior. Interestingly, 5 generation Avalon is offered in four versions; Touring and XSE are sports models and Limited and XLE are luxury ones.

Toyota Auris design has been completed

Toyota Auris of the third generation has got the final version of the body. The camouflaged car seen on road tests still hides many design elements but it is possible to see the general idea of future novelty. Auris’ debut is scheduled for 2018.

Toyota Alphard and Vellfire updated minivans of 2018-2019 years have been presented in Japan. They are ready to enter the local market on January 8, 2018 at a price of 3354480 Yen. Having survived a restyling Toyota Alfard and its top version Vellfire have got more aggressive appearance, chrome decor and modernized lighting, refined interior, advanced complex of the Toyota Safety Sense and powerful petrol engine V6 3.5.

Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios of 2018 on the stand in Indonesia (part 2)

The new Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios are based on the frame structure with 220 mm ground clearance. Both crossovers will be offered only with rear-wheel drive. Under the hood of Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Therios there will be installed a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol atmospheric engine 2NR-VE with 105-hp and 140 Nm output. The power unit is mated to 5-step manual transmission or 4-step automatics for extra money.

Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios of 2018 on the stand in Indonesia (part 1)

Toyota’s new models of 2018-2019 are a 7-seat frame crossover Toyota Rush presented in parallel with the twin brother Daihatsu Terios 3 on November 23, 2017 in Indonesia. The novelties are built on the platform of the compact Daihatsu Xenia car (Toyota Avanza) and inherited the frame structure from the donor.
